They say that setAllowHash(false) defines de hash value for the domain in the GA cookie as "1", otherwise the domains hashed value on the cookie will be a garbled code.

So, on this rollup proposal, the cookies for the rollup on the domains "B" and "C" will not match the cookies set for domain "A"s rollup tracker.
Why?
Because "A" has cookie hash value "1" for both mystore.com and domain "A". The domains "B" and "C" do not have the setAllowHash(false) script for the rollup tracker and the cookie will have a garbled code instead of the value "1" on the "A" domain cookie.

Is this accurate? Should there be the setAllowHash(false) for the rollup tag in domains "B" and "C"?

This is the reffered post:
http://www.analyticspros.com/blog/googleanalytics/91-google-analytics-cookies-and-domains.html

Any ninjas able to clear this out?

Thanks!
@PauloReissAnalytics InSitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16066395776492165982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3580069.post-42394757854274131282010-04-05T15:48:32.980-04:002010-04-05T15:48:32.980-04:00I was successful at setting up the various account...I was successful at setting up the various accounts, including the Rollup account. Your project requirements should decide which way you want to take.

Here are two scenarios of why I push for my approach:
- Sometimes you want to grant certain users admin access to one account and not to other accounts. Let's say you want Tom to have an admin access to b.com account and not to the a.com and c.com accounts (this is a very common scenario for businesses who use more than one marketing agency/web designer/consulting firm for their different sites)
- For a consulting firm like e-nor who creates 5-10 filtered profiles for each domain for deep analysis, it will be very messy to include all domains under one account.Allaedin Ezzedinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06007001023557434135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3580069.post-64681467723493245402009-12-04T11:45:43.817-05:002009-12-04T11:45:43.817-05:00Hi,
